Colorado Regulation 84

Sewage Reused 101

Elbert County ShitIf you’re wondering why Elbert County’s “Independence” construction exploded late last fall – it was because “As of October 2018, Colorado has amended Regulation 84, stating it now approves the use of reclaimed water for toilet and urinal flushing.”

So basically you flush it, and that sewage water gets on-site “treated” to a much lesser standard than potable water, then your kids can play in the non-potable water sprinklers, and you can wash your car with non-potable water, and the grandkids will fill the dogs water bowl from the non-potable water tap on every house.

Keep growing Colorado. Pretty soon we’ll be shitting on the streets like they do in California.

  1. Your anti-California statements may gain traction with some readers, but it turns off many others. We all don’t hate California, it’s people or it’s government. We are the United States of America. Every state has it’s own unique issues. Let’s deal with ours without creating divisions and diversions.

    1. I’m from California and I don’t want any part of this state to become like it. As a whole California has become a truly disgusting state. One in Five live below the poverty line. The state ranks lasts in school performance. Crime is incredibly high. People literally do poop in the streets and it’s totally legal. It’s very sad to see people here in Elbert county ruin what we have. I always joke and say if they turn my area into California I’ll sell my land and make a killing then move out east!
