How can Elbert County Commissioner Byron McDaniel be allowed to vote on the 6,000 acre Colorado Plains Ranch application (which includes a data center)? After his comments on a public Facebook Group it appears he’s violated every rule in the book by discussing a pending application in a public forum BEFORE it’s even before the BOCC and a scheduled public hearing! His comments appear that he’s already made his decision and is trying to sway others. What the hell?

Byron McDaniel isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but for a sitting County Commissioner to publicly try to sway the public? This isn’t plain stupidity though, this is County Commissioner Byron McDaniel trying to force an outcome that HE VOTES on November 18th! He MUST recuse himself!
